Over the last three years, we have been impressed by the women in our group in general, but are looking for two things in relation to this award: 1) Absolute commitment to the bottom line and focus on money and power for women; and 2) support of women's leadership as women seek to gain a greater share of global capital. 

We wanted to recognize a group of women in our circle who are leading the way, breaking new ground and counting the "cha-ching", on the revenue and capital fronts.  All of these women deserve our award, but we will be presenting a special recognition award to one finalist from each category listed below to thank them for their commitment to Money and Power for women.  Selections will be made by our Advisory Board and announced at this luncheon. Most importantly, we will ask each finalist to share some wisdom with us on how to stay sharply focused on the revenue and capital power game. These Bottom Line Broads are truly Power Women Capitalists and we want to celebrate that!

Darya founded Broads Circle in 2008 with the goal of creating an exclusive network of businesswomen and the professionals who work with them. The networking meetings began as invitation-only bimonthly breakfasts featuring guest speakers such as C-level women executives who shared their insights and lessons from the field. Since then, our membership and event attendance continues to grow and Broads Circle has added evening cocktail events featuring nationally recognized speakers.

With 22 years of experience in financial services, Darya's forte is strategic wealth management for families and foundations. She is a CPA and Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), and obtained her MBA from Fordham University. Darya has taught as an adjunct professor of Finance at New York University and has authored many financial planning articles.

Darya is married with three children, lives in Pacific Palisades, CA, and currently serves on the Board of the Westside YMCA, the Board of Mann Healthcare Partners, and was recently appointed as the new President of the Los Angeles Philanthropic Advisors Network in addition to her position as Broads Circle Founder and Chairwoman.
